Neff DVD-N057-CSX Cumberland Sub (Hancock to Brunswick)
N057_DVD.jpg
Neff Video takes you to the eastern portion of the Cumberland Sub where five towers are still active on this 43 mile stretch. Coverage starts at Hancock “HO” Tower.

Heading east to Old Sleepy Creek, we visit inside Miller Tower and see a W&LE grain train on Williamsport Hill on the Lurgan Sub just off the Cumberland Sub. Watch CSX trains going through Paxton and North Mountain Cut. Visit Cumbo Tower and view a loaded coal train coming off the Low Grade before reaching Cumbo.

Other locations include: Martinsburg, Hobbs (which is the helper district for this line), and Shenandoah Jct. Where NS goes over the CSX. See historic Harper’s Ferry and catch an empty stone train going over the trestle on the Shenandoah Sub.

Our tour ends at West Brunswick where we see the last locomotive still in the B&O paint scheme.

Color, full narration, sound, one hour.
