Union Pacific Odyssey Volume 1  Pt1 & Pt2

From 1952 through 1980, Emery Gulash chased the Union Pacific through its sparkling history. In Volume 1 of this series, you'll follow Emery and his Bolex camera's through the end of steam and into the first generation diesel era. Then you'll go along with him as he spends a good part of a year chasing that well known Northern type steam engine #8444 in his story called 'The Year of the 8444'

The Northern interfaces with many of the U.P. crack 'City' trains and freights as well! Many freight and passenger trains, turbines, and first generation diesels are covered in this two hour train chasing extravaganza!

You'll also visit many locations of the U.P. such as Denver, North Platte, Sherman Hill, Ogden, Chicago, St. Louis, Green River, Council Bluffs, Cheyenne, Rawlins, etc...

Approx: 2 Hours--Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo

Union Pacific Odyssey Volume 2  Pt1 & Pt2

Emery Gulash takes you on a fantastic journey where Volume 1 left off. Volume 2 covers the 60's and 70's. You will see more first generation diesels, 'City' trains, New second generation diesels, more Big Blows (turbines), the Centennial locomotives, and DD-35's, as well as many other Classic diesels.

The Golden Spike Centennial at Promontory Point in 1969 is prominently covered including special trains from parts of the U.S. which converged on the scene for the reenactment. Many of those trains were pulled by steam!

If you like steam, passenger trains and first generation diesels, then this beautiful production from the camera of world renowned rail photographer Emery Gulash is a production you won't want to miss.

Approx: 2 Hours--Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo
